I make web sites for individuals, businesses, and non-commercial organizations. I also creates graphics for web sites made by
others. I provide professional service at reasonable rate. There are four costs to having your own site:
- Development Cost: this is the fee I charge for making a site. My regular fee for a up to 4 pages is $300.00 US and includes setup fee for businesses and for personal sites, I only charge
half of the quote above. For additional each page, a fee of $50.00 US will be applied. For more complex site design, please
e-mail
me information about your needs, when I fully understand your needs, I will give you a firm quote. when I design and build a site for you, I will get it registered with the search engines.
Maintenance Cost: I charge a fee for changes to a finished site, however my fees are very reasonable....
Hosting Cost: you must pay for a site host unless your site is hosted by your ISP or a free web server. I have nothing to do with this charge as you must pay them directly. The cost depends on your needs,
normally there is a one-time set-up charge, plus monthly charge, usually I recommend a basic plan which is adequate for many sites and charge is about $19.99US, of course costlier site hosting plans
exist for sites that require special services; and you can lower costs if you pay annually instead of quarterly.
Domain Name Cost: the cost of having your own domain name - e.g. www.yourname.com - is $70.00 US for the first two years, and $35.00 US/year after the second year, for any domain name that ends in .com, .org, or .net. You also have to
pay for this service directly to Internic..You can check whether the domain name you want is available, please click below .

- I can help you find a free of charge web site hosting companies, again no set-up fees, no monthly or quarterly fees whatsoever. Only catch is to have a advertisement banner on your site, which is small sacrifice.

Domain names may not exceed 22 characters (not counting the 'www.' at the front, and not counting the '.com' or whatever at the
end), may include only the characters a-z, the digits 0-9, and the dash character ('-'), and may not begin or end with a dash. Note: the 22-character limit is being expanded to 63 characters, however, the longer domain
names are not widely available, and are not supported by all browsers. Names ending in '.com' are for commercial organizations. Names ending in '.edu' are for degree-granting institutions, e.g., colleges and
universities. Names ending in '.net' are for network-related organizations. Names ending in '.org' are primarily for charities and non-commercial or non-profit organizations. And names ending in country codes (e.g.,
'.ca' for Canada) are granted according to rules set by the country. You must pick your name very carefully, especially if it ends in '.com'. It must not only be unused, but also should not be someone's trademark in
the United States or in your country. Otherwise the owner of the trademark could make a claim to the name you picked. To protect your domain name from such a claim, you could trademark the name from which the domain
name was derived, or the domain name itself. It may be wise to register several names: the name you prefer, plus any similar name that you don't want others to have. E.g., if your preferred name were bestbuys.com, it
may be wise to also register best-buys.com. Picking your domain name is the first step you should take when planning a new website. Find out about visits to your site: I can get a counter or tracker for your
website so that you can get information about visitors to your website. Counters typically count and report the number of visitors to your website. Trackers do this as well, but also can report statistics about your
visitors which can help to determine how to make your website more effective. |
